About Me

hello! i’m ham or hamilton :D

I’m a Business Management Economics major at UC Santa Cruz with a Technology & Information Management minor. I’m interested in product, production, operations, and eventually working somewhere at the intersection of technology and games.

Games have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing Roblox, Minecraft, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six Siege, and basically every car game I could find. I also got pretty competitive, reaching the top 0.5% in VALORANT and Champion in Rainbow Six Siege on console.

I was also the kid making Roblox games and websites for fun. Back in 2018, I built Loodekres.com, one of my first websites, and I’ve always liked figuring out how things on the internet and in games actually work.

I’ve wanted to work in technology and games for a long time, even though I’ve definitely heard my fair share of “good luck with that” and “what are you going to do with your life playing video games?” Instead of making me lose interest, it made me want to turn something I already cared about into something I could actually build a career around.

One of my favorite franchises is Resident Evil (the movie was okay). I also grew up watching way too much YouTube, especially GTA V trolling videos and Minecraft creators. Games and the internet shaped a lot of my interests and are a big reason I enjoy building things for online communities.

Outside of games and work, I like weightlifting, walking, drawing, listening to music, eating, and snacking while watching YouTube. I’m also really into cars and currently own a Mercedes 240D.

Mostly, I like making things, learning random stuff, meeting new people, and working on projects I actually care about.

“Hamilton was one of the best student leaders to work with across Gen.G's Collegiate Club Program. He didn’t just execute. He understood his campus, his community, and how to make Gen.G campaigns land in a way that made sense for UCSC students.”

“He was reliable, communicative, and able to operate independently while staying locked in with the team. I’d work with him again in a heartbeat.”

Jasper Lee

Partnerships & Program Manager, Gen.G Esports

“Hamilton was a part of Gen.G's Collegiate Club Program at UC Santa Cruz this past year, and he was one of the best student leaders to work with across our program.

What I appreciated most was that he didn't just execute; he actually thought about his campus, understood his community, and figured out how to make Gen.G campaigns and initiatives land in a way that made sense for UCSC students. That kind of initiative and thinking outside-the-box isn't something you can teach, and Hamilton's had that.

On top of that, Hamilton was reliable, communicative, and had an awesome attitude throughout the academic year. In a program that runs across a lot of schools simultaneously, students who can operate independently and still stay locked in with you are genuinely valuable.

I'd work with him again in a heartbeat, and whoever brings him onto their team is getting a smart, passionate, and amazing talent who's going to show up and deliver.”
